avulsion # of medial mal. Joint space is not equal throughout. No joint space on lateral side. Laxity of the deltoid ligament due to # results in talus laterally displaced.

Rx of uni/medial mal # c ORIF. Diastasis scew thriugh fib/tib. Removed after 6 weeks. Diastasis occurs when two bones which are usual congruent separate. Here the talus is pushing onto the tib/fib plafond. Lax ligaments easily give.
